About Us
ACM-W supports, celebrates and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of computer science. The Manipal chapter of ACM-W wishes to carry forward the vision of ACM-W in establishing a society that not only motivates young girls to become zealous programmers but also provides them with adequate resources and the right mentor-ship at every step in their path.

Events
CS 101
A meetup where students were introduced to the fields of ML, Crypto and Algos for research. We recommended top journals and professors whom they could approach.#SheMentors
A 1-1 mentoring session for the freshers, for computer science related topics. This aims at educating the ones who are not in the computer related branches and find difficulty in scoring in PSUC (problem solving using computers). The ACM-W core taught one student each, in their hostel rooms, over a weekend.Rendezvous With Research
This was part of Google's International Women's Day celebration and held in collaboration with WTM Manipal. Spanning over a day, the event comprised a keynote, lightning talks by two students on their research projects, talks by the female faculty members at our college and a panel discussion on availing research internships and scholarships.
